Water in the Morning
Mornings are the best time to water lawns – and gardens for that matter. When you water in the morning, the sun has yet to rise to its full intensity, so, your soil is more able to absorb water. Watering later in the day causes evaporation. Also, water deeply and less often to promote deeper roots.

Fertilize
Fertilizing regularly with a natural based product adds the nutrients your lawn needs to stay strong throughout the season.

Improve Your Mowing Technique
A trick to help keep your grass green in the summer is to let it grow a little taller. Raising the mowing height helps shade the soil and slow the drying out process.

Let Native Designs Landscaping handle all of your lawn needs. From fertilizing with eco-friendly products to weekly mowing, we do it all. Call us for a landscape consultation 610.613.1243.
